I reached for the top drawer, and stopped. “May I?”
“Of course,” she smiled.
I hooked a finger and pulled. Scarves of gossamer pashmina and heavy silk, in every shade and color, lay in a rainbow.
I turned my head and looked down. She waited quietly.
