John Blum from US was taking the glass-lift to the roof-top dome of modern Reichstag, an architectural marvel, in Berlin. The ride offered a view of the parliament chamber below from all levels. It was designed to remind current politicians of being watched for their legislative actions, so not to repeat past atrocities. John wondered: “How Nazis were able to mobilize citizenry so quickly, in absence of today’s Facebook and Twitter’s rapid text-messaging?”

Happily, American dictators(Trump) have only a few powers. To negotiate trade policy, limitedly, and to deploy troops, also very limitedly.
