Alex and his brother Eddie relished the overnight trips to see Aunt Peggy, Uncle Lee and cousins Christopher and Steve in the rural town of Big Rock. Unlike their own bland, straight-laced suburban house, Aunt Peggy's place was full of playing, laughing, Better Than Robert Redford Cake, and Atari. Studying, stress and family arguments were nowhere to be found. Now Aunt Penny and Uncle Lee are dead, and Alex is estranged from Christopher, Steve and even Eddie. Despondent lines have formed across Alex's brow from many anxious years, but memories of those distant visits still come to him in reveries.
