Three nephews attended seldom visited Aunt Phyllis’s funeral.

“Phyllis talked me into going back to school, paid my first year’s tuition. She never mentioned it to anyone. I owe her. How about you, Ike?”
“When I was broke, out of work, she supported me for a year, Never wanted thanks. She never mentioned it to anyone. I owe her. Larry, what about you?”
“When I lived in NYC I got a late-night call for her from an old boyfriend. I forgot to ever mention it to her. Guess I wanted to say I’m sorry.”
