Bret and Tiara arrived in Antigua (Guatemala), a UNESCO world heritage city. They located a rooftop bar for an afternoon drink noticing three dormant but active volcanoes surrounded the town, one bellowing spiraling steam in a mild activity. Soon the setting sun’s rays, getting reflected and refracted by floating clouds, filled the sky in seven colors of a rainbow. A Zen-like serenity engulfed the valley. Patrons resorted to whisper amidst this ethereal experience.
Historically, this town was devastated by those volcanoes several times, but rebuilt every time. The couple appreciated the resiliency of past citizens while enjoying this magical moment.
