When I opened the crumbled manuscript the pages came alive! A prince jumped out and tried to save me. The Princess mourned her own innocence. A dragon awoke my passions with his fire. Fire that encircled me until I made flight over its embrace. A world made new by enclosure in my own tale of reality and escape. I was running fast now while life pursued me. The book grew my imagination as a garden of stories. I dashed into one, climbed up the mountain, and shut the pages behind me.

I really, really like the last line! I have often wished that I could do that while reading a book! Comments are closed.
