“Yeah, yeah!” I say, knowing well I’m meeting the guys at City Park.
The Robo-Vac hums past. I kick it, head to my room and prepare to go out.
Newly-connected to the City-Watch System, the Robo-Vac blocks my exit. “You’re to clean your bedroom,” it says.
As I push past, the Robo-Vac’s sensor whips out and gives me an electric shock.
I collapse.
The Robo-Vac advances on me. “City-Watch has footage of you vandalising the park,” it says. “That’s three months’ juvenile detention. Unless you clean your room.”
