Finished, I laid down my quill and flexed fingers. Looking at the full moon I imagined the rage my husband would be in when he read my goodbye letter. I did not care, he would not be able to hurt me anymore after tonight. I quickly packed a small bag and wrapping myself in a warm cloak I crept out of the house. There in the distance I saw him waiting for me, my lover who had promised me a new and happier life. Arms outstretched I ran towards him murmuring his name ‘My Darling Count Dracula’.
