Each morning Jake strolls into work, clutching his cup of coffee and greets his co-workers with a smile. Nobody suspects.
Jake wears a mask to hide his depression and shield himself from the judgement of others. His father taught him, by example, that men don’t show their feelings.
After work Jake returns home to his empty apartment, peels off his mask and puts a frozen dinner in the microwave. He dreams that one day he’ll be able to reveal himself.
