“You mean beyond winning?”
“Yes.”
“To do better all the time.”
“In what way?”
“Sales and profits.”
“Why was that important?”
“It meant I was winning.”
Pause.
“I gave a lot of money to charity too.”
“Why?”
“Tax deductions. And good PR.”
“I can see you’re tired,” said the interviewer, turning off her recording device. “Why don’t we pick it up there tomorrow?”
