She wishes life was lived in reverse. To know goals have been accomplished, desires satisfied. That the exigencies of age would ebb and recede. To divest not amass. First love: not last regret. To breathe the unfettered hope of youth but with the wisdom of hindsight. Mothered, following time’s disappointments. Then a concluding appreciation of earthly life before the journey to the security and comfort of the womb: a nine-month lullaby in an evanescent sling of peace. Finally, a gentle segue to the uncoupling of sperm and ovum to cells in space and time. How much more pleasant, she thinks.

Haven't we all, at one time, wished we could turn back time. Interesting tale of a journey back through a life, Shelley.
