Monstrosity, by Alex Andy Phuong
He was a monster who had trouble expressing himself. He is not mythological, though, because he was a mortal. He had a troubling childhood, and yet he was not a homicidal maniac, though. Instead, he was a struggling writer trying to be relevant in the creative writing world. He knew that he was only one man on the planet. He was bratty during his youth, yet he grew up to find himself, and be himself.

You can lose yourself in creative writing, becoming who and what you want to be through your characters.

Fortunate indeed is he who find him(her)self and then dares to be him(her)self!

I agree with Bobby's comment completely.

To the average person, a "monster" is only a creature beyond the ken of average minds.
