I married Jim right out of high school because of his ability to move objects with his mind. I thought it was so cool back then, but as the years went by and Jim’s drinking got worse, he would laugh as he mentally flung my family mementos at me. Sometimes he would levitate me, knowing my fear of heights. I studied science, as a means to stop him, and came across Newton’s third law. I now sit here looking over his fractured skull; the result of trying to fling my mother’s jewelry box that I had bolted to the floor.

All too often the little things that attract us in the first place turn into the things that really bug us! He definitely got what he deserved, a little of his own medicine :)
