Six long minutes later, Earl turned the wicked machine off, caught his breath and began next week’s lesson plans.
Teaching Algebra to sixty middle schoolers is not for wimps. Who could fault him for taking an overdue mental health day? Earl poured coffee, sat down at the computer and played two games of Solitaire. He’d already read his e-mail and the AARP news. Now what? AARP recommends staying active.

So many people plan for the financial side of retirement, but totally neglect to plan for what they'll actually do. I hope your story gets people thinking about that important topic.
