Rocky the rooster was too smart for his own good but my goodness was he cute. From his barred plumage with black and white feathering to his bright red comb, wattles and earlobes, he was one attractive cockerel. And he knew how to strut his stuff in front of the young ladies. Feisty and full of boundless energy, he was always vying for their attention. But his interest lay with one hen in particular. Although sweet-tempered Daisy wanted nothing to do with the Casanova until he could control his crowing. But the busy body always had something to say. |
