It was filled with yellowed papers and musty books from his college days. Sifting through them, he spotted a small, silver medallion on a thin chain resting on the bottom of the trunk.
He had forgotten all about it. He had worn it growing up and even when he left home. It made him feel close to God.
Now he picked it up, slipped it over his head and prayed he might feel that way again.
