Two hours later, Deedee entered the house and meekly said, “Hi, I’m home.”
From the crest of the hill, Deedee could see the red taillights stretching into the distance like a string of bright beads. The motorway was a mess; she would be getting home very late. He was quick to anger if everything was not cooked and served promptly and properly. Fear caused her stomach to churn.

Agree with Jim. Turn off the motorway and head off to a fearless future.
