“Rabbi,” the young Jewish boy asked, “I have searched for God but have yet to find Him. What must I do to find God?”
“Follow me,” said the rabbi. They walked through the countryside, into the woods and waded into the middle of the river. The rabbi quickly turned and held the boy underwater. The boy fought with all his strength until he was completely exhausted. The rabbi then let him up and said, “When you use all your strength to search for God as you did to search for air, then my child, you will find God!”
