So, the Seas conspired with the Forests, who long-harbored dreams of departing the uprooting Mountains. And to this day, untold thousands of silver and gold bars, and tons of copper, tin, and precious gems lay in the grasp of the Seas, brought to its depths from the Mountains by the Forests.
The Seas were jealous of the Mountains. “We only rise to our own level, and have so few miners to extract our treasures. Mountains rise to great heights, and have many miners digging. We dare not dampen their doorway, but must find a way to countermine their magnificence.”

This is such an interesting way of presenting the forces of nature being jealous and struggling with each other. Nicely done, Bill.

Really original story. Great personification. Lots of wood that made lots of ships that sank in the waters. Very cool.

Thanks Pamela and Jennifer. Yes, Sue, much at hand. I only ever wanted the wet wood. :-) The rest is too heavy.
