Clotilde loved seeing the sparkle in her daughter's eyes and enjoyed the sounds of her gleeful giggles.

She was fascinated watching the snow fall cloaking the cabin with a fluffy blanket. The proud buck stood perfectly still. Crystals shimmered upon the evergreens as flurries fell upon the field. First a snow bank here, then there. Over and over again the scene changed, yet it remained the same. The repetition wasn't boring, in fact, it was mesmerizing.

You fooled me, Pamela! And then, when I realized, I went back and read it again, and your description of the wintry scene was even more poetic. Well done.
