"The essential challenge of Friday Flash Fiction is to write a fresh new story or poem in time for publication that following Friday."

Contest Entries Closed

We're sorry, but the latest Friday Flash Fiction contest is now closed to entries.

Our judges will read through all those that have made it to publication on the website, and will each nominate a favourite to create a Short List. That will be announced in due course to our readers via the newsletter, and our eligible readers will then get to vote for the winning story. Please note that if you signed up after the competition opened, you won't receive voting rights on this occasion – you'll have to wait till next time.

In the meantime, I need a rest.
Friday Flash Fiction will be closed to submissions for a few days.
