Welcome to Friday Flash Fiction, the site for writers who can cram an entire story into 100 words. For almost a decade, we've been publishing great short fiction from all over the world, and we're still going.
The essential challenge of Friday Flash Fiction is to write a fresh new story of 100 words (or just under) in time for publication that following Friday. You'll notice that we also accept short poems and some flash fiction of up to 500 words, too, subject to some restrictions. However, every newcomer is expected to submit – and have published – TWO classic 100-word stories before we allow them to branch out. Why not have a look at what our hundreds of writers submit? These days, we have a "Friends-only" Facebook group which writers will be invited to join. It'll be a place where you can discuss whatever you like – I'll only police it very lightly. However, it's also where I'll share developments in FFF, and also put things out for discussion.
