Hi Jim...thanks for reading and commenting. When I was a kid we called fireflies lightning bugs. I can still see them flashing in the warm summer nights along weedy ditch banks. 2/10/2022 01:43:51 am
I grew up mostly in California, where lightning bugs are a fairy tale from far, far away, but did spend some time in the south where I got to see those little "lanterns" in person, and what fun they were.
