He decided to go about his daily routine.
He set out to do some gardening. He had a beautiful garden. He always took great care of his garden. It was the best around. It not only looked beautiful but it supplied him with sustenance year round.
He remembered, as he was working, how peaceful it was before the population doubled. Once it doubled it seemed like it was no time before it had quadrupled.
He actually was very grateful for the increase in the population. He treated everyone like family.
He enjoyed his wife but he also liked his time away from her as well.
He treasured his time alone in the garden, however he never felt totally alone.
Sometimes he heard someone talking to him but no one was there. He chalked that up to his imagination.
One day he got his wife and they went for a walk. He was giving her the grand tour. When they arrived in the center of the garden, they stood in front of a majestic tree with beautiful fruit.
He said, “ Remember what I told you. Never eat the fruit of this tree. Promise me Eve that you will never eat from it.”
“ Of course Adam, I always do what you say,.” as she discreetly kicked the core of the eaten fruit underneath a nearby shrub.
