The flat line of his monologue persists, with an undercurrent of demand that all others cognate his superiority, which they grant just to escape his insistence. Each job he has he keeps a short time, then restarts what he perceives the useful life of a new cycle. His eyes seem tall in his long head. He fills each room with all he knows, oblivious to people who back away. His nervous laugh is meant to cajole them to applaud. He drones on as others lose the thread of each lecture. On social media, people write "inspiring," a synonym for pity.

Someone should have taken pity and told him he needed to spice up his monologues. Comments are closed.
