It’s so easy to pretend we don’t exist when we sit back and stay quiet.
But we do exist. That was the truth they were afraid of facing. The pill they didn’t dare swallow. And how shocked they looked, hiding high in their towers, as we marched on. Sorrowful. Angry. But proud.
They can try, but they’ll never erase us. Never silence us.
We exist—we always have.
And we always will.
