Well, she saw you today while she was watering the plants on her balcony. Drops splashed onto the street and you looked up, smiled and waved.
It broke her heart that you didn't recognise her.

Do you remember the girl with the long black hair who used to dance on street-cafè tables under a moonlit sky? You used to throw her flowers from where you stood at the back of the crowd and she was always jealous of you because she knew you had a family to go home to while she had only her art to keep her warm.
Well, she saw you today while she was watering the plants on her balcony. Drops splashed onto the street and you looked up, smiled and waved. It broke her heart that you didn't recognise her.

He only saw her beauty on the street, not the balcony. Sad for both of them.

I enjoyed the bittersweet mood of this. You packed so much effectively into those 100 words!
