Last Thursday, I had to throw together a brochure for the local historical society. Browsing the Library of Congress website, I found a nifty high-resolution scan from a glass-plate negative from the 1890s; it featured a building that’s still standing on our town square. I downloaded the file, loaded it into Photoshop, and took a good look.
