Archie displayed excellent problem-solving techniques and inventiveness while completing a 3-D Found Object project.
He incorporated arms emerging from a bowl of blood-red resin, a car radio and an adult toy and connected the ensemble to a lead-acid battery. Medical attention was necessary for those overcome by fumes. Archie's thought-provoking sculpture distressed students, and staff members raised objections to its display during Open Day.
Archie found the adult toy at home, the arms on his grandmother’s vintage Pedigree doll, and the radio in the History Master’s car.
Archie will go far.
