He was targeted from behind the darkened windows of a stolen car, from which a gunman emerged and a struggle ensued. A single shot was fired; that’s all it took. The gunman later pawned his cell phone for a hundred dollars. The victim never had a chance to calculate the cost of his life taken young, of his family’s shock or his friends’ dismay. He had not even a moment to utter a primal scream in the face of such senselessness or to ask why. It was those he left behind who never stopped questioning until their own dying days.

Whilst bereaved families ask the 'why' question, Some perpetrators never question why they carried out their atrocities. It's becoming more of a way of life for too many these day. Comments are closed.
