My therapist looked at me over his half-rimmed reading glasses.
“Three times that I can recall.”
“Tell me what you remember.” His hand shook as he scribbled in his notebook.
“Bright lights, small gray beings with huge black eyes. I don’t remember pain, but I remember...tests.”
“To put your mind at ease, I need to tell you something—”
My therapist’s body suddenly disintegrated. In its place was a Gray.
“We’re you. From the future. We’re only trying to discover a cure for a plague that will kill all humans in 200 years.”
