I received a B.S with a Ph.D. from a college in Texas that eventually went out of business. For those not familiar with what a BS with a Ph.D. is, I'll explain. It is a degree that is ‘Bull Shit, Piled Higher and Deeper’.

Because of my advanced education, I got a job driving a garbage truck, a job fitting for my Ph.D.

Because of my education, I eventually got into politics. Most all politicians from Texans have a BS-with a Ph.D. They serve in Congress before getting elected to the Senate. Today, I am a Senator from Texas.

Loved your humorous interpretation of the type of college degrees necessary for a political life. Politicians from around the world would have similar letters after their names.

Since Friday Flash Fiction began in September 2013, 100-word stories have remained its 'beating heart'.

Normally, 100-word stories are scheduled for 07.00 BST (GMT in the winter) on the following Friday. However, where a larger number of stories (more than 25) are due to be published on the same day, we publish the later ones EARLIER around 4.00 am. On the rare occasions where there are more than 50 stories, we'll post an even earlier set, probably around 2.00 am UK time.
