Anonymity has its perks. Sometimes embracing tenderness is nice, too.
Let’s just say Vaila is the inconspicuous type. I point this out because it tends to counter feminine attraction. And Vaila owns boatloads of beauty. Late adolescence thoroughly magnified the quandary. Often going unnoticed (never mind untouched) generated a distant reserve. Laissez-faire attitude indeed. Yet there was a hidden tug driving her towards social acquiescence. Help! The quasi-friend next door proved useless; two aloof souls repel each other. Hence that fleeting skedaddle. Vaila’s mother found her in the cemetery, huddled near a gravestone. Scooped up and feverishly petted, Vaila sighed.
Anonymity has its perks. Sometimes embracing tenderness is nice, too.

Vaila needs to be kept pristine and untouched. Comments are closed.
