She has me at a disadvantage. She can always create other characters, but I cannot go to another author; I am forced to do what my author wills.
So if my actions seem a little stilted as you read my author’s story, please blame her rather than me.

Of course my author has writer’s block: She keeps thinking of me as a character and not as a person. I try to tell her what I mean to do, but she dismisses me because my plans don’t mesh with her preconceived story ideas. We seem to have reached an impasse.

I had to laugh and then say, “Guilty as charged.” Good story, Lynn.

So clever. I loved this Lynn. We should all listen to our characters' voices.

An interesting take on the challenges of writers. I like Jim B's comment as I often feel my ideas aren't sufficiently supported by my writing skill.

I agree with Jim B. My ideas could do with a better writer. 24/10/2021 05:57:45 am
This is sublime! I love the premise so much, and as a writer, I truly GET where both the author and character POVs are coming from. Awesome!
