Emily watched her golden-haired boy grin broadly as he pushed the button, bringing down yet another enormous, crumbling edifice to make way for a shiny, modern monstrosity, and she smiled inwardly as well. They'd tried so hard to instill in Colin a love of books, music, outdoor activity from the beginning. He had taken an interest in all of those things, admittedly, but who knew that all those hours smashing every block structure he (or his over-involved parents) ever built, from todderhood on, it would lead to him one day owning his own demolition company? So much for their intentions….
