Ben and Pete lay back in the sun: a glorious summer's afternoon was not be wasted on anything so trivial as work. The air was clear, there wasn't a cloud in the sky.
Ben propped himself up and looked across. "You were right, Pete. I tip my hat to you."
"My dad taught me never to give up, even when things are difficult."
"Do you think we did the right thing?" Ben asked.
Pete looked up, horrified. "The right thing? Of course we did the right thing! Remember myxomatosis?"
"I suppose so. It just seems a bit extreme, that's all."
