She was alone in the field admiring the sole tree which was in
full winter's regalia. There were no naked branches. Fluffed out pine needles were adorned with a coverlet of freshly fallen snow flakes. Simple pine cone ornaments-no more were needed to add to its glory.
The chirping birds overhead reminded her that darkness was fast approaching.
She whispered to the tree, "Tomorrow we can be alone again."
