“But this isn’t your house,” someone pointed out.
“Says who?” he huffed.
He droned on about himself. People tried to avoid him, but he seemed to be everywhere.
Finally, the host had to ask him to leave.
“Excuse me!” he bellowed. “I made this party great. Without me, it’s over!”
He grabbed a statuesque woman and left, slamming the door behind them.
Everyone stood still, looking around. Someone laughed. Then everyone laughed, and the party went on.
