As Matthew clumsily kicked the edge of his desk, the computer kicked into action. His previously sleepy LinkedIn account began to fill with (authentic) job offers and his friend Sam (Sungalaxy) rang excitedly. If only I had realised how effective a spot of desk kicking was, he thought, I would have tried it a lot sooner. Now I can post a really useful ‘Job Hunter’s Secret Weapon’ article on LinkedIn that won’t rip people off! My knee is a bit sore, though…
