Suddenly scores of crabs came crawling out of the incoming tide up onto the beach.
Carly and Sam stood and gawked. They'd never seen anything like this.
"Looks like a bunch of alien monster critters, don't they?" said Sam. "I sure don't like the way they're acting. Carly, we better git, 'fore they decide to attack us!"
"No," Carly said as the crabs formed a semi-circle in front of them and stopped, raising their front claws. "Sam I think they're tryin' to worship us!"
