“Hey Brian, I want to thank you again. You don’t know how much it means to me. It’s the most important thing I’ve ever done. Thank you for introducing me to Jesus Christ . He’s changed my entire life from the inside out. You were right. I can feel the freedom He’s given me. I’ve never been more free in my entire life than I am right now. Thank you so much.”

Yes, this story came about from my interaction with one young inmate in particular. Thanks for your comment Jim.

Wow!!! Powerful Doug, I'm sure you helped set some inmates free "on the inside" over the years. Those in prison know that they are in bondage and may be more receptive to being introduced to Jesus. It's sad to me that there are so many that are free on the outside, but on the inside are as much in bondage as any inmate...

Thanks Mike. Yes, true freedom comes from within. People can do things to you externally but can only do things to you internally if you allow them to.

Mike B's comment was as potent as your story, Doug. Freedom can mean many things to many people.

Doug, I had different take than most. I actually thought it was funny.

In a busy life, the small still voice can go unnoticed. I suspect prison gives much time for reflection.
