Following extensive and protracted negotiations involving a Lithuanian intermediary and four Indian elephants, I can exclusively reveal that all rights to Friday Flash Fiction have today been sold to a Milan-based hedge fund.
 
As part of the contract, movie rights have been sold on to film-maker Danny Boyle, best known for “Trainspotting”, “Slumdog Millionaire”and “Steve Jobs”. It is understood that Cate Blanchett, Brad Pitt and George Clooney are signed up for leading roles, although Russell Crowe has yet to accept the role of Len Nourse.
 
The new owners are insisting that all submissions hereafter are in Italian.
