The Y8 was late. A short, pudgy guy, about my age and height, walked up and stood too close to me. He opened by talking about his wife.
“She’s a department head at the SUNY Oneata Downstate Medical Center.” I wondered, with his eminent wife up north, why he stood next to me in Virginia waiting for the Y8. He continued.
“Ever heard of frozen yogurt on a stick?”
“Yeah.”
“I sold that idea to Dannon—made a million dollars on the deal.”
The Y8 rolled up. He climbed in first and sat down. He was reading the employment section.
