The title of this piece is Part Three. It was an easy decision. Part One was little more than backstory, a lot of preliminary, boring stuff. Nothing happened, so I threw it away. Part Two was character development. Like who’s going to remember that? So it too went into the trash. Part Three is pure action, the juicy bits: “Mary shot John and escaped to Peru.” It’s all you need to know. I was thinking of writing a Part Four, but it would have been anticlimactic. Let’s face it, Mary got away with murder, and John’s going to stay dead.
