“Ugh--I can’t take any more of this rush hour traffic!” Ray sighed.
“I hear you, man,” Ed replied. “But what can we do, except just sit here?”
Suddenly, their car started rising up into the air, above all the traffic! After Ed’s eyes returned from bugging out, he looked at the dashboard and found an airliner’s controls. Soon, Ray was piloting the vehicle as it zoomed above the bumper-to-bumper cars on their way to work.
“How--how’d you DO that?” Ed stuttered.
Ray smiled. “You’ll learn, my young Padawan. You’ll learn.”
“I hear you, man,” Ed replied. “But what can we do, except just sit here?”
