They moved away from their noisy urban hustle, and settled for a week in the remotest woods they ever knew. Inside a tee-pee tent, decibels were lowered by nature to a fraction of thousands. They could hear each other’s organs for the first time. Not yielding to that surprise, they opened their ears much more, until they heard each other’s thoughts. The tent soon became noisy. Only the voice between their membranes could hear them.

Silence resounds with its own noise. Thoughtful piece, Teddy. Comments are closed.
