She wanted to be left alone for a change. But there they were again. Visitors of all ages sat or stood behind a shatter-proof glass partition. They stared, mouthed words, wildly waved their arms and snapped her picture. Suria glanced over at her mother for some guidance. Jasmine sat on a brightly colored blanket. She appeared calm and in control as she rested her back against the partition. Suria couldn’t help but look over her shoulder one more time and take a peek at her visitors. She would just have to put up with their silly nonsense for another day. |
