“I’ll take care of the death certificate,” Dr. Martin said. “I’ll just call it a COVID-19 death. It’s the easiest thing. We’re having a COVID uptick in the area.”
“Thanks,” she said.
“You should be quarantined since we’re calling it a COVID-19 death.” Dr. Martin smiled. “I’d suggest a two week stay in my vacation cabin with me, where we can celebrate the fact we successfully got rid of your husband!”
