Sunlight filtered through the dense brush as Eve pranced over the stepping stones, inhaling intoxicating fragrances. Flowers bloomed in hues almost blindingly brilliant: daffodils, daisies, bougainvillea, hibiscus… Luscious fruit lunch labeled by shape or taste; uprooted vegetables edible raw; or cubs and kittens to cuddle. Paradise. Adam provided nomenclature. But G-d forbade them to eat from the Tree of Knowledge.
