Fortunately, he found a new computer at a decent price. He snapped it up, and it was a big upgrade--faster speed, more efficient, and so much more modern all around. Soon Joe was back in business, writing to his heart’s content and not even missing one week. He was itching for more weekly stories, and couldn’t wait to share.
The computer Joe used for his flash fiction stories was in bad shape. Programs were freezing; the keyboard was messing up; and the system was really slow. He didn't know how he could continue with stories, given his tech issues.

Okay, Russell. Tell me where Joe bought his new computer. I think I need an upgrade too!

My computer is called FRED....f***ing ridiculous electronic device. And often a few other names. Enjoy the upgrade.

*Bobby*: I believe this computer came directly from the manufacturer, with a decent deal. *Mary*: I feel your pain with technology; I was having a lot of troubles with my computer, too. Fortunately, this story is based on fact since I'm now on a brand-new P.C.--really nice. Thanks to both for your feedback.

My husband is a computer nerd. I have so many programs on my computer that tie me, and the computer, into knots when all I need is Microsoft Word and my email server. Empathy with a piece well written.

Thanks, Sue. I, too, would like to keep things simple on my computer, though it isn't always easy ... Comments are closed.
